1986:
Moved to a larger 6000 sq. ft. facility

1988:
Opened a second location in Peoria, IL.

1989:
Joined Connecting Point of America franchise, which later became the Intelligent Electronics/Connecting Point franchise.

1991:
A fire at the shopping center where the Bloomington store is located destroys the facility and 12 other businesses. Relocated to a 8000 sq. ft. temporary facility and reopened in four days. 

1992:
Bloomington store relocated to a new 9200 sq. ft. location (current locale), and also relocated Peoria store to a new building with better visibility.

2004:

Connecting Point Computer Center has, once again, earned the status Apple Premiere Specialist, the highest stature of Apple's Specialist program.

Connecting Point Computer Center has partnered with M-Audio to bring you the best in audio equipment for your computer. M-Audio, a business unit of Avid, Inc, is a leading provider of creative tools for computer-centric musicians and audio professionals. We now provide every product from M-Audio.

2005:

Connecting Point Computer Center earns Apple Premiere Specialist status from Apple, the highest stature of Apple's Specialist program.
